Description

Between July 1942 and September 1944, the Nazis deported and killed 75% of Holland's Jews, proportionately the highest of any German-occupied country. During that time, the Jews organised large-scale resistance but it was mostly ineffective. Despite the resisters' heroism, few were saved. The author began researching this subject in 1983 but, by 1988 when this paper was delivered, had not reached final conclusions.
