Description
Considers the position of Jewish children during the Holocaust, particularly those sheltered by Christians, and how they were regarded by the latter. Makes the point that non-Jewish children from underprivileged backgrounds were more likely to be anti-Semitic than others, having been conditioned that way since infancy. However, the positive conclusion is that sibling bonds developed between children of rescuers and Jewish children hidden by their families have endured.
