Description
Studies the geographical position of Yugoslavia making it one of the principal transit stations for Jewish refugees and emigrants passing through it from 1933, and making it their sanctuary for various lengths of time. From October 1940, regulations were introduced undermining the legal status of Yugoslav Jewish citizens. The Yugoslav Royal Government was the only international legal support to Jewish refugees in Europe.
