Description

The author examines the role played by the Zionist and youth movements in respect to the emigration of Jews to Palestine from 1918 to 1945. The Zionist movement proving to be of significant influence in the years of Jewish persecution while the associations of adult disciples of the youth movements and training centres contributed to the building of collective settlements in uninhabited areas of Palestine where modern agriculture was developed.
