Description
Hashomer Hazair was by the late 1920s a large movement in Eastern Europe. The founding of the movement in Palestine in 1927 served as a catalyst for the expansion of the movement throughout the world. In that year H.H. began to make inroads in Hungary, Brazil, France , Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and the United States. It was decided not to establish an independent H.H. in Germany, but rather to try to penetrate existing youth movements
