Discusses occupied Krakow and the politics surrounding the Jewish Aid Agency (JUS) the major aid agency in occupied Poland until the summer of 1944. The JUS furnished food, clothing and medicine to Jews trapped in dozens of forced labour camps and ghettos near the city, largely supplied by international aid funnelled through Portugal and elsewhere
