Details several programs through which thousands of parcels containing food and medicine were sent from Sweden to Jews trapped in Nazi Germany and occupied countries in Europe. The scope, scale and timing of the Swedish contributors are given special attention and the role of local Jewish aid organizations as mediators in this process, primarily the relief committees of the country's Jewish communities, The Swedish Section of the World Jewish Congress and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
