Description

Discusses some of the efforts made by individual Jewish activists and organizations stationed in neutral countries during the war to sustain the Jewish population in the Nazi-controlled and Nazi-allied territories. The Relief Committee for the War-Stricken Jewish Population (RELICO) supported thousands of Jewish refugees and prisoners of ghettos and camps, often working against the strategies pursued by more established Jewish organizations.
