Israel and antisemitism

Description

Zionism and the state of Israel have faced ideological and political opposition since their inception. This opposition has often been translated into enmity towards Jews and Judaism. The stand taken against Israel and Zionism advocating their obliteration, derives from the national territorial struggle but is buttressed by traditional Islamic references. Opposition to Zionism and criticism of the state of Israel have often served as a cover for latent antisemitism
