War of interpretation: conceptions of genocide in Australian history

This paper discusses the history of the Aboriginal people and the historical legacy of a period of genocide. States that Australians do not see it as genocide, and in fact in view of the Holocaust in Europe they do not accept that Australian history has such a black mark in its past.
