Social death and the destruction of the Jewish family by National Socialist Germany.

This article discusses the reality of social scorn, persecution, and expulsion of Jews in the pre-Holocaust period. This shows how 'social death' due to lack of care and being isolated from the community were as real an issue as the Holocaust that followed.
