At the age of one, Hannah was diagnosed with a congenital hip dislocation. It was 1939 and her parents neede to find a country that would give them refuge, and they were eventually given passports to Britain. Years later it was discovered that a British agent Frank Foley performed the miracle for 10,000Jews. In September 1999 he was honoured as 'Righteous among the Nations'
