Holocaust in women's lives: approaching a Slovak oral history archive

The author provides a set of testimonies by women where she quotes extensively from a video archive of the testimonies of the survivors in Slovakia. She provides evidence about women's coping strategies during and in the aftermath of the Holocaust. Biographical narratives of women who have experienced the Holocaust do not only describe their own tragic fate, but also offer interpretations of their attitudes and reactions to different situations
