Description

This chapter is divided into three parts: the first part deals with the history of teaching the Holocaust in Israel; the second with the failure of a specific pedagogical program introduced in the 1970s; and the third with teaching the lessons learnt from the Holocaust as a means of easing the tensions between universalism and particularism in Israel.
