Description

Education about the Holocaust is explicitly mandatory only in Finland and Sweden. In Denmark, the need for history teachers to bring up the Holocaust is highlighted. In Norway, the curriculum does not mention the Holocaust, but many Norwegian teachers raise the topic in class. In all countries but Finland, there are also special state-funded institutions for education about the Holocaust
