Description
Moses Schorr was born in Galicia. He received his education at the Jewish Theological Institute and was ordained in 1900. He was a member of the Rabbinical Council of Warsaw and chair of several Jewish social, cultural and charitable organizations. By virtue of his high standing in Jewish society, he was appointed to the Polish Senate and remained in this position until 1938. He was arrested in October 1939 and extensively interrogated, and died in July 1941. The documents relating to his interrogations are given
