Description
Examines the causes and expression of antisemitism in Lithuania in the period between the two World Wars. Causes and expressions of antisemitism were characterised by the interweaving of various often contradictory elements: Jews were perceived as being aligned with the communist movement, dominating the economic sphere and were considered to be of no social or economic benefit to Lithuanian society.
