Description

Describes the concentration camps within the borders of the Soviet Union situated in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The purpose within the framework of the 'Final Solution' was extermination of the Jewish inmates through labour, disease and starvation. The structure of these camps, living conditions, dissolution of the camps and the fate of the prisoners prior to liberation are all briefly discussed.
