Description

This chapter analyzes the hitherto little known Institute for the Study and Eradication of Jewish Influence on German Religious Life. Established in 1939 by several important German theologians, this institute greatly contributed to the effort to disseminate the idea of a so-called Aryan Christianity by 'proving' that Jesus was racially an Aryan who strove to destroy the Jews. Such German Christians defined themselves both as a chosen people and a victimized people
