Description
The author, a doctoral student living in Chicago was studying the design of Holocaust education, and became interested in the 'other victims' of the Nazi regime - the disabled, Roma, homosexuals who were persecuted by the Nazi, but whose persecution has been all too often overlooked or forgotten. Based on historical truth he created a group of fictional characters - all teenagers - who would represent the narrative of a distinct victim community, set in Berlin in 1943
