The first part of this article is a general introduction to the history of the DP community in Germany. The second part focuses on the involvement of Polish Jews in Jewish bodies in the Western occupation zones. The third part presents some of the major topics discussed in the newspaper of the Polish-Jewish community in Germany, and the fourth part examines the oganization and goals of Polish-Jewish associations and their role in remembrance, rehabilitation and reintegration
