Description

Danuta Siedzik was born in Guszczewino in north-eastern Poland. In 1945 she joined the Home Army, a Polish resistance movement, and became a paramedic in an anti-communist unit. She was arrested and falsely accused of murdering secret police functionaries, and was sentenced to death and executed by firing squad before she had reached 18 years of age
