One of the aims of the Nuremberg trails was an effort to teach Germans the 'proper' lessons of WWII that the true cause of their present misery was not the military superiority of the Allies but Nazi ideology. In this article the author queries whether show trials work and achieve their educational purpose and examines the legacy of the Nuremberg trials.
