A note on the testimony event

Description

The author helped bring the Video Archives of Holocaust Testimonies to Yale University and has had an intimate relationship to the archives since its inception. In this chapter he describes the way the survivor is part of the audience , the need for a testimonial alliance, the spirit of the interviewing, and the way showing videotaped testimony lessens the risk of'secondary trauma'.
