David Boder interviewed over 100 DPs in Europe in the summer of 1946. The interviews were amongst the earliest audio recorded testimony of Holocaust survivors. He had his own scientific agenda, but he also understood that he had a duty to educate Americans about what had befallen the Jews. Rosen shows how a range of social scientists utilised his findings
