United Nations and genocide: a program of action

There are possibilities for meaningful international action against genocide within the framework of the U.N. There are also strategies through nongovernmental organizations, an early warning system, the media, religious leaders and public campaigns. A movement is underway to stablish an organization under the name 'International Alert'
