Description

This article looks at the differing opinions regarding the level of voluntary participation of ordinary Germans in mass murder during the war, and whether the Holocaust was caused by the unleashing of their pent up anti-Semitism. As a balance it cites examples of the opposite behaviour often exhibited by other Germans at the time.
