Description

To believe that 'old' forms of representation have emerged from the Shoah intact is to take part in a mythical identification with events. This essay is an effort to write against the grain of myth. It attempts to consider the Shoah and its presentation beyond myth. The issue becomes the question of how language and form expose the fact of their own myth, and move beyond it to speak outside mythical terms
