Description

A survey of current Holocaust research in Poland. Begins by tracing scholarship in communist Poland, which was sometimes anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic, but note that the real breakthrough came during the sixteen months of Solidarity in 1980-81, which called for a search for truth and new discussions between Polish and Jewish historians.
