Description
In the peace treaty of 1920 Hungary was forced to cede two thirds of its prewar territory. The lost lands included Slovakia and Transylvania. No politician in Hungary accepted the verdict of Trianon. The basic factor behind Hungary's siding with Germany in 1938 was the wish to revise the Trianon boundaries.
