Description

Elaborates on several of the new tendencies to explain the nature of the Third Reich and its place in history. Examines the works of some of the most influential scholars and confronts their central theses established in the 1960s and '70s, which stressed the singularity of the Third Reich and the Holocaust in German and universal history, with the present tendency of what may be called 'relativization' or 'historicization' of National Socialism.
