Description
This paper discusses the Jew in Hungary and the crisis of identity. The 19th century saw the results of a combination of existing social prejudices, the tradition of anti-judaism and the beginning of equal rights. The 20th century saw another change - a two-way change, stemming both from intra-Jewish affairs and from a discourse that reflected various processes and led to a new framework of attitudes.
