Description

Pre-war policies discussed and how Sweden developed these policies, which after the outbreak of war became somewhat restrictive owing to economics. Pressure from individuals and the Swedish church grew. Also diplomaticcally and through the Swedish Red Cross helped saved Norwegian Jews and Sweden's efforts to to help European Jewry. Wallenberg and Langlet, Swedish diplomats' efforts to save Hungarian Jewry in 1944.
