A trained journalist and expert typist, Naack-Mosse was put to work in the Central Evidence office of the camp, compiling endless lists of all the obsessive details required by the SS. With access to camp records, she recorded statistics, alondside her own obervations in a secret diary that reveals the ghetto's dark reality as a way station for Jews destined for deportation.
