Description

In their quests for victory in World War II, Hitler and Stalin laid waste to over 700 Ukranian cities, 28,000 villages and six million lives between 1941 and 1944. In Kiev in September 1941, the entire city center erupted in a week-long series of explosions. That was swiftly followed by the execution of over 30,000 Jews by the German SS. Includes segment on Babi Yar
