Description

Author Meyer Levin joined the Haganah's European underground after World War II and recorded on film the fantastic story of the "Aliyah Bet" - the clandestine movement of Holocaust survivors to Palestine. Levin, movie camera in hand, did not miss a moment. He kept shooting film, even as British soldiers boarded the "illegal" Haganah ship that was to carry them to shore
