Description

The Nazis invade Poland in 1939 and Sonja Stahlhemmer is forced together with her family into the Lodz Ghetto, where most of them die of disease, starvation, executions or are deported to Auschwitz. Sonja's journey tells the story of what a Jewish girl had to endure, before, during and after World War II.
