Description

This essay assesses of the history of the Shoah from 1945-2005. Through the systematic analysis of the respective focal points and paradigms, the author clarifies how differently the Shoah was contextualized and which questions were in the foreground. Since the 1990s, the focus has been on the question of 'completely normal perpetrators', in recent years this has been expanded to include the facet of complicity in the Holocaust on the part of non-German collaborators.'
