Description

This autobiography of a young girl who had to cope with being 'abandoned' by her parents during World War II, having been left with friends of her parents. The book is set in France and it shows none of the horrors of the concentration camps, but does show the emotional scars of having to cope with being separated from her parents and living in war-torn France.
