Description

A collection of 19 letters written by journalist to family and friends. It provides a first-hand account of what life was like for Jewish Berliners 1939-1943. He writes about the social life, culture, economy, decrees against the Jews, rationing and finally the methodoical confiscation of all Jewish property and deportations to the East.
