This book is a moving account of the struggles of the survivors of the Holocaust to overcome their horrendous experiences in the ghettos and concentration camps as well as their subsequent attempts to revive their lives after the second world war. The author, himself a survivor includes some of his own experiences and memories which helps to give the book a special depth.
