Memoir of Thomas Blatt's life during the German occupation of Poland. He grew up in the largely Jewish town of Izbica in the Lublin district of Poland, his deportation to Sobibor and escape from the camp. Also includes an interview with Karl Frenzel, a Nazi commandant from Sobibor.
