Description

Drawing on recently declassified American intelligence records, previously unseen documents from European archives and interviews with those involved, the author shows how agents of Himmler's secret service began to arrive in Madrid in 1944 to prepare an escape route out of Germany for the defeated Nazis. In 1946 the operation moved to Buenos Aires, where it operated out of the Presidential Palace, with tentacles in Scandinavia, Switzerland and Italy
