Description

An autobiographical account of a Czech Jew from Bratislava and how he survived. The son of a well known Rabbi, Unsdorfer lived in relative safety because of his father's position. In 1944, however, the Germans decided to liquidate the remaining Czech Jews and the family was sent to Auschwitz where everyone except the author perished.
