Description

This long work is considered by many the most outstanding poetic narrative about the Holocaust, by a man who was himself a victim of the Holocaust. In 15 cantos, he tells of the plight of the Jews, from the German invasion of Poland through the revolt of the Warsaw ghetto. Following the poem is a lengthy biographical and interpretive essay written by Noah Rosenbloom titles, "The Threnodist and the Threnody of the Holocaust.
