Description
The authors arrange a defining classification in the first section of this book, wherein the act of genocide is seen as a one-sided and official attempt at mass annihilation of an entire group of people. The second part describes over 20 historical events that is in the genocidal category. In the final section are found various bibliographies, arranged mostly by the various atrocities. Some critics felt that, by the book's own typology, few if any of the other tragedies discussed, actually met the same criteria on 'intentional' annihilation as found in the Holocaust.
