Description

This city was for many years a centre of Hebrew publishing in Poland, which made it an important religious and cultural centre. Many of the contributors, most of them survivors, whose essays, memoirs and anecdotes present a vast panopoly of Jewish life in Poland before, during and after the Holocaust.
