Women and their special role in the Holocaust are the subject of this excellent anthology of eyewitness reports. A general introductory chapter gives an overview of the Holocaust and the role played by women. Materials are grouped into 3 main sections: "Women in the Resistance," "Women in the concentration camps," and "Women in hiding."
