Examines the psychological scars as well as the mental resiliance of survivors. Concludes that most survivors suffered great mental trauma but never became psychiatric patients. Recurrent memories and flashbacks appeared necessary as conscious or unconscious efforts to purge some memories and move foward with some positive vision
