Description

Heinz Jost,a hotel-keeper from Langelensheim,was serving in the German Army near Warsaw.In September 41 he spent his birthday in the Warsaw Ghetto and photographed everything he saw,taking 129 pictures.In early 1980 he handed them over to the editors of the periodical Stern.In 1987 they were given to the Yad Vashem Archives.
